Traineo
Lifehacker.com mentioned a new website called Traineo.com. Traineo is a weight loss and fitness tracker designed to keep you motivated to achieve your fitness goals. Traineo has a really interesting concept wherein you choose up to 4 motivators (friends, family – whomever) to receive weekly progress reports from Traineo. This website is very very very 2.0 style where the look and feel is nice and clean and the site uses ajax like its going out of style (Ajax is the new tag haven’t you heard?).
Anyhow, I signed up for the site and will be doing a bit of a review on it in an upcoming episode. Check out our stats: Jason & Steve.

NEW! Audio Comments
Steve and I here at GeekFit are always looking for ways for YOU to interact with us. We started out with giving out a phone number for people to call in and leave a voicemail. We received a few of those but not as many as we would have liked.
Starting today we have installed a new audio commenting system that has been developed by MyChingo and MightySeek. This will allow you folks the ability from your web browser to leave comments on any of the shows we post. You can also comment on any of the posts as well as the recipes that we put on the site.
I’ve included some simple instructions just in case some of you get stuck.

Turkey Avocado Wraps-You might know them as the “burrito sandwich”
Wraps are a quick and easy variation of a sandwich. They pack well, are highly adaptable to whatever you have on hand (I even make peanut butter wraps) and they can be a nutrcious substitute for those artery choking hamburgers. Check out this recipe that I found over a the Food Network. Note that I took out the jicama, just because I don’t care for jicama. You might, so if that’s the case, add some jicama and knock ourself out.

1/4 cup low-fat ranch dressing (go easy here) In a small bowl, combine the ranch dressing with the salsa and orange zest. Lay the tortillas on a cutting board, and spread the ranch mixture evenly over each one, leaving about a 1-inch border on all sides. Layer the turkey, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and scallions evenly over each tortilla, still leaving a border. Season with salt and pepper. Roll up like a pinwheel. Halve, and serve.
