What is a Podcast?:

Podcasting is a way to receive audio files over the Internet. Many content providers offer podcast feeds at no cost. These feeds deliver audio broadcasts to your desktop. You can listen to these files on your computer or load them on to your MP3 player and take them with you.

Getting Started:
All you need to get started is podcasting software or your web browser. Once you download and install the software, simply add our feed: http://www.geekfit.com/feed/ . The podcasting software will automatically check for updates and download the files to your computer so you can load them onto your MP3 player.

Listen Now
To listen to a specific podcast, select “Listen Now” on the episode you want to listen to. The MP3 file will play directly from your web browser.

How do I listen to the podcast on the website?:

  • Play on the website: Click the Listen button to play the podcast on the website.
    • If you use this method and you navigate to another page the podcast will stop playing.
  • Play in Popup: Click the playinpopup.gif link to open a popup window to play the podcast.
    • If you use this method you can navigate to other pages of our site (or other websites) and the podcast will continue to play.
  • Download and play: Click the download.gif link to begin playing in your computers MP3 player.
    • Right Click the link and Save to download the mp3 to your computer to be played later.

  1. Download iTunes (Windows/OS X) and install.
  2. Execute iTunes and click Podcasts:
  3. At the bottom of the screen click Podcast Directory:
  4. Type “GeekFit” into the Search box and press enter:
  5. Click Subscribe on the GeekFit results:
  6. Press Subscribe on the popup window to confirm:
  7. GeekFit is now added to your iTunes library, double click to play the downloaded episode.
