The occasional "leftover" drop off of cookies/cake/whatever that seems to show up around birthdays. I'm in a 24-7-365 organization so there's no telling when something tasty and evil will show up.
There are also a lot of vending machines. An awful lot of them.
Mostly what I apply is will power. Sometimes it doesn't work. I keep my some healthy foods on hand for myself so I'm not hungry when the snacks come around. The best thing I've done for myself, when I do lapse, is eat a few bites, put it down and get on with my day. I found that worrying about having indulged makes me feel worse.

There are quite a few things to avoid at my work place and I admit I don't do a very good job of avoiding them some days.

We have an open kitchen, with grocery orders that get delivered twice a week. Many sandwich, cereal, soup, cookie, cracker, fruit, vegetable, soda, juice etc options to choose from not to mention once a week breakfast gets made for the whole office and meetings that run during lunch and they order take out for us.... Oh yeah and the candy at the front desk.

Unfortunately I've only gained weight since starting instead of loosing. Though I'm trying to get a handle on it and remind myself of all the things I can eat vs what I shouldn't.
