Adding weight/resistance training to your routine is better for you than walking with weights…a lot of unnecessary stress on joints and ligaments. But, if you want to walk weighted, try a weighted vest like this one: http://tinyurl.com/25kkkq
I know it’s not ideal. Just my .02.
The above comment is correct weight walking or weight vests are more designed for performance increase not weight reduction. You could do what they say above or maybe try walking a bit faster.
Thanks Liana I didn’t think about the stress part of it. I’m just looking to maximize my walks is all.
