Thank you very much for the constructive review. We've been spending a lot of time brainstorming ways to make user interaction easier, and I'm confident you'll like the improvements when we roll them out.

Steve: some of the problems you experienced are because currently exercises are categorized three ways on gimme20.com. You are able to track by time, by distance, or by weight/sets/reps. Perhaps it would make more sense, to combine distance and time into a single type?
