Steve and I here at GeekFit are always looking for ways for YOU to interact with us. We started out with giving out a phone number for people to call in and leave a voicemail. We received a few of those but not as many as we would have liked.

Starting today we have installed a new audio commenting system that has been developed by MyChingo and MightySeek. This will allow you folks the ability from your web browser to leave comments on any of the shows we post. You can also comment on any of the posts as well as the recipes that we put on the site.

I’ve included some simple instructions just in case some of you get stuck.

  1. Click “# Comments” link to go to the comments screen:
  2. Type in a Comment in the text box then click “Insert Audio Comment” link:
  3. Once you have typed in your text comment and have clicked Insert Audio Comment you will need to record your comment. Obviously you will need a sound card that is capable or recording audio and a microphone. Most laptops have a built in microphone as well as some monitors.
    Press Record to being recording
    Press Stop once you have completed recording
    Press Pause during your recording, press it again to continue
    Press Preview once your done to listen to what you have recorded.
    Press Attach to upload and attach the audio comment to your text comment.
  4. Once you have done this press Send Comment and your text comment and audio comment will be posted.
